The historic Jones library located in downtown Amherst dates back to 1919 and houses some of the most important historical collections like Emily Dickinson Collection and Robert Frost Collection.

Brief: Over time, the library campus has witnessed some challenges like increasing issues of stormwater management, public safety, ADA accessibility. The redevelopment plans aim at addressing these issues and provide a safe outdoor gathering area for the community
